“I haven’t really made much of an attempt to improve my game or play competitively for about 15 years. Turning 40 made me realize that I don’t have a whole lot longer to try to be decent at golf. I decided to spend some more time working on my game about a year and a half ago. Getting back and working with Steve was an easy decision once I made a commitment to get better.
Steve has not only been a huge help with my swing mechanics but all aspects of the game including strategy, process and mind frame. He’s been the most critical element of my overall improvement and the MD Am was a notable example of how far I’ve come.
I’m not sure the tournament is set up for a moderately fit 40-year-old to win but I came close. I beat some very strong young players on the way to the final and have taken a lot of confidence from that. The guy I lost to in the final had genetics on his side and that’s always tough to beat. I’m hoping the MD Am was just a launching point for some better things in golf over the next few years. I’m enjoying the game more than I have in a very long time in large thanks for Steve.”

“LBF Birdies for Childhood Brain Cancer” charity golf event today at P.B. Dye golf club was an enormous success. The rain and little sun did not discourage participation as seen by the large turnout.
